An everlasting bond
The bond between man and animals dates back to pre-historic times. As pets and domestic animals, these constant companions of humans have been instrumental in providing love, care, protection and even livelihood to millions of people. But still, animals are a harassed lot. The cruelty meted out to stray animals is unimaginable. Indeed, animals deserve better.
It’s while sharing our concern for abandoned and injured animals, we - five animal lovers - decided to form a shelter for them. And thus came into existence Animal Care Trust (ACT) on 30.03.2000. |
